Dr. Satabhisa Mukhopadhyay, PhD

Dr. Satabhisa Mukhopadhyay is the Co-founder, Chief Scientific Officer, and Co-inventor of 4D Path’s QPOR™ technology. She received her Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, with a focus on string and gauge theories, from Rutgers University, and earned an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

Prior to founding 4D Path, Dr. Mukhopadhyay spent nearly a decade conducting interdisciplinary research in cancer systems biology and pharmacology, bioinformatics, and AI/ML algorithm development for high-throughput genomics and transcriptomics data at Harvard Medical School, MIT, and in collaboration with the Broad Institute. Her work has focused on developing novel algorithms at the intersection of statistical physics, image analysis, and modern machine learning—spanning applications from cancer genomics and systems pharmacology to predictive modeling in finance.

She has also led initiatives in regulatory strategy for diagnostic and predictive algorithms, working closely with clinicians, regulators, patient advocates, and industry panels. Dr. Mukhopadhyay is deeply committed to integrating computational innovation with a systems-level understanding of tumor complexity to support real-world decision-making at scale and to transform cancer care in the best interest of patients.
